There are a couple of ways to get around and this information is essential to know before you make your travel plans to avoid hassles in your trip.

Shuttle

Turkish Airlines Shuttle

If you are coming to Denizli with Turkish Airlines, there’s no need to worry. Because after all Turkish Airlines flights, there’s a shuttle waiting right outside the airport door to take you your destination. You can either go to Pamukkale or Denizli City Center depending on your choice. The service costs 10 TL.

Baytur

Their shuttles will go to Pamukkale or Denizli City Center, depending on your choice. If you are coming to Denizli with either Borajet or Pegasus Airlines from Istanbul, there’s no shuttle directly to Pamukkale. So, taking a Baytur shuttle at Denizli Cardak Airport would be good and convenient choice since it only costs 13 TL to get to Pamukkale. Basically what they do is similar to other shuttle services but you need to reserve your shuttle before your travel begins and this service will provide a vehicle just for you. If you are travelling with 1 or 2 people, or just by yourself, you are provided a sedan car with a driver, that will be waiting for you at the airport. If you have more than 3 people travelling, you are provided a bigger vehicle (minibus). As you might guess, this service is more expensive compared to others, as a sedan car will cost 175 TL to take you to Pamukkale from the airport. A minibus, which will take up to 13 people will cost 250 TL. If you are travelling with a group and if you can split the cost, you can reduce the amount of money you will be spending. You can book your shuttle on this page. However this might be a pricey option and if you really want to go to Pamukkale with a car, taking a taxi costs much less.

Taxi

You can always take a taxi from the airport to get to Pamukkale. Pamukkale Taksi, the taxi company that is lcocated at Cardak Airport, will take you to Pamukkale for 75 TL. They also have taxi services to popular destinations like Kusadasi and Bodrum.

How to Get to Pamukkale from Bodrum

Denizli Cardak Airport

denizli-cardak-airportDenizli Cardak Airport is the only airport in City of Denizli and it’s the closest one that you can use to get to Pamukkale unless you are coming from other cities by using road. The airport is relatively small but it’s very clean and you don’t encounter a rush like you would in a crowded airport.

The airport is located in Denizli’s Cardak region and it is approximately 70 kms away from Pamukkale. It usually takes about 1 hour to get to Pamukkale and about 50 minutes to Denizli City Center if you take a shuttle from airport. Denizli Cardak Airport only has flights from Istanbul at this point.

There are currently three airlines that flies to Denizli Cardak Airport from Istanbul. Only Turkish Airlines uses Istanbul Ataturk Airport for Denizli flights. Borajet and Pegasus Airlines use Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport as their base for Denizli.

Turkish Airlines Flights to Denizli from Istanbul

For each Turkish Airlines flight to Denizli, there’s a shuttle waiting at Cardak Airport. So, you don’t need to worry about how to get Pamukkale. This shuttle will take you to Pamukkale or Denizli City Center depending on where you want to go. Most visitors prefer to go Pamukkale directly to settle into their hotel rooms. This shuttle will arrive Pamukkale in about 1 hour and it costs 10 TL. You will be giving this charge after you get on the shuttle and while you are on the road to Pamukkale. A Shuttle official will come and ask for 10 TL. So, don’t confuse when you are asked something like this on the road. :)

Baytur is a transportation company that is located at Denizli Cardak Airport. Baytur provides shuttles and sedan cars for visitors for a long time now. They have a shuttle for every flight that lands on Denizli Cardak Airport and it’s really convenient to use their services if you are flying with Borajet or Pegasus Airlines.baytur-shuttleAs you know, Turkish Airlines provides a shuttle from the airport to Pamukkale. However Borajet and Pegasus Airlines provide shuttles only to Denizli City Center. This is not very convenient for you if you like to go Pamukkale directly from the airport. In this case, if you are flying with Borajet or Pegasus Airlines to Denizli, you can take a Baytur shuttle from Denizli Cardak Airport and go to Pamukkale directly. Again, they have a shuttle for every flight that lands on the airport. It only costs 13 TL to get from the airport to Pamukkale. And to get back from Pamukkale to Denizli Cardak Airport, you just need to let them know about your departure time from Pamukkale and your hotel address. Baytur shuttle will take you from there and drop you at the airport for 26 TL. Yes, it’s really convenient and this one of the cheapest way to get around.

Aside from the shuttles, you can take a Baytur private car from the airport to Pamukkale for 60 TL. Baytur also has a Rent a Car service if you’d like to discover the area with a rental car.

Pegasus Airlines Flights to Denizli from Istanbul

The ride costs only 10 TL and Baytur also provides a shuttle to get back from Pamukkale to the airport. An alternative to taking shuttle is taxis. You can find a taxi from Cardak Airport and go to Pamukkale at anytime for 75 TL.
